MCF is pleased to announce that The Caux Round Table (CRT) will recognize Sandy L. Vargas, president and CEO of The Minneapolis Foundation, for Outstanding Citizenship later this year.
Since 2007, Sandy has led MCF member The Minneapolis Foundation, which promotes constructive dialogue and action on critical issues such as closing the achievement gap, achieving prosperity for all, improving public sector outcomes and realizing a more vibrant and equitable community through grantmaking and leadership work.
CRT is an international network of experienced business leaders who work with business and political leaders to design the intellectual strategies, management tools and practices to strengthen private enterprise and public governance to improve our global community.
This year celebrating 25 years of charting a platform for principled leadership, CRT believes democracy demands high standards of citizenship and organizes an annual event to recognize and celebrate the standards. This year they honor Sandra L. Vargas’s years of responsible leadership in business and civil society.
