Congratulations to MCF members Penny and Bill George of the George Family Foundation for being recognized by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Minnesota Chapter (AFP Minnesota) for their outstanding philanthropic achievements.
Tickets are now available for AFP’s National Philanthropy Day luncheon on November 16, when the Georges will be honored along with:

- Robyn Hansen, Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser
- Michael G. Ferber, CFRE, Outstanding Professional Fundraiser
- Penny and Bill George, Outstanding Individual Philanthropists
Also at the event, GiveMN will present the Supersized Golden Ticket and announce the winner of a new fundraising award to conclude activities from Give to the Max Day 2012 on November 15.
The annual National Philanthropy Day awards luncheon will be held on Friday, November 16, at 11 a.m. at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center. Tickets may be purchased from AFP Minnesota.
