I believe only good things will come from this however; there are so many different facets that need to come together to ensure students are learning.  Teacher effectiveness has a BIG impact but so does the environment inwhich that child is raised. Poverty - lack of parenting - lack of structure and support - etc.  Education is a partnership between schools and parents.  Teachers can be more effective if children come to school ready to learn.]]></description>
