Conference Wrapup

November 13, 2007

2007 MCF Conference
This was my first conference — loved it! I especially liked the many opportunities to network.

Very good conference. The speaker on Friday was awesome!

Great theme, presenters and topics.

These are just a few of the comments we’ve received from the Nov. 1-2 annual conference in Plymouth, where an all-time high of 260 grantmakers from 91 member foundations met to hear perspectives from new leaders, explore topics by grantmaker type, learn how to define and shape the future, learn from mistakes, network with peers, and much more. We have compiled resources from the conference, from handouts and copies of presentations to session notes, and welcome your comments and additional information to continue the conversation about the Promise of Philanthropy.

Keep the conversation going: Did you go to the conference? What was the most valuable? The least? How can Minnesota grantmakers keep the Promise of Philanthropy alive?
